Hazare criticises government for ignoring Ramdev's condition

"The government should look into this matter with a more humane approach. A citizen has a right to protest according to the constitution," Hazare told reporters here.

"It is not wrong for people to strike, stage protest and raise their voices against the system in a democracy," he added.  Ramdev, whose fast against corruption continued for the seventh day Friday, was taken from his ashram in Haridwar to Dehradun for a check-up after his health deteriorated.

He Thursday took lemonade and honey at the request of doctors. The yoga guru has been on an indefinite fast since Saturday. He and his supporters were forced to move out of Delhi's Ramlila Ground early Sunday.
