JOIN USSuchet, a product of the Horizon club, lost the first game against club-mate Sanketh GS but cameback strongly to clinch the crown with a 10-12, 11-7, 12-10, 11-9 win in the final. OMMTT’s Priya was up against a similar fight from Aishwarya N but she too stepped it up when it mattered and finished on top with a 13-11, 3-11, 11-9, 11-7 victory in the title round.
In the Cadet boys final, Neeraj Raj of HTTA scored a comfortable 11-6, 12-10, 11-8 win over Rohan Jamadagni of Horizon. However, Gayatri T had to sweat it out before claiming the Cadet girls’ crown, scoring a 9-11, 9-11, 11-5, 11-5, 12-10 win.
