BJP leaders at the meeting discussed the Yoga guru's health and opined that any untowrd turn in his condition will become a national issue, party sources said.

They also discussed the party's future course of action in view of the situation, they said.
Held at L K Advani's residence, the meeting was attended by BJP chief Nitin Gadkari, Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj and party general secretary Ananth Kumar.

Earlier in the day, the party said the government should take Ramdev's fast against corruption and black money seriously and announce "credible action" to tackle the issues raised by him.

"This (black money) is a very serious issue....He has raised some very pertinent questions on the issue of corruption and the whole country is agitated on the issue. We want that the government take this matter seriously and announce some credible measures," BJP chief spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said.

Ramdev was admitted to the intensive care unit of a hospital in Dehra Dun when his health deteriorated on the seventh day of his fast today. Doctors said his condition was "stable" after he was administered glucose.
