Kashmiri students on national integration tour in Bangalore

The 35-member group of students accompanied by teachers of schools from Kulgam and Anantnag Districts are here as part of the National Integration tour from Kashmir to South India organised by Army's 1 Rashtriya Rifles Battalion to give an exposure to the students to world outside their villages.

The students met Major General A K Pradhan, General Officer Commanding of Karnataka and Kerala Sub Area of Army, a defence release said.

The aim of the tour was to broaden the horizons of the young children by showcasing the many facets of South India which would not only widen their understanding towards national integration and motivate them to pursue higher studies and contribute towards building a modern India, the release said.
