Etihad signs five-year cargo deal with Jettainer

Etihad Airways Senior Vice-President (Cargo) Roy Kinnear said: "The ULD deal with Jettainer will ensure Etihad's cargo services remain among the best in the world. Under the deal Etihad will receive a complete fleet of brand new, lightweight ULDs. The containers, which are 20 per cent lighter than the standard aluminium version, are proven to reduce the environmental impact of an airline as well as reduce costs.

The deal continues Jettainer's expansion in the Middle East and Asia regions. An operational team will be implanted within Etihad's hub at Abu Dhabi airport, which will ensure seamless operations, enhanced communications flow and alignment with the customer. Etihad is the 13th member in the customer portfolio of Jettainer.
