The report, according to sources here, also questioned the role of the doctors, who had performed the first autopsy on the teen’s body and had concluded that the girl had committed suicide. The second autopsy had confirmed murder but had ruled out rape.
The report has pointed towards the complicity of the policemen of the Nighasan police station in the ghastly crime and thereafter cover up, sources said. It has not ruled out the possibility of an attempt to outrage the modesty of the girl before her murder. Police constable Ramchandra had been arrested while an FIR had been lodged against three policemen.
