In Udupi taluk, there was more sea erosion near Pandarinatha Bhajana Mandali on the Udyavara sea shore.
Copious inflow
The Linganamakki, Bhadra and Gajanur reservoirs in Shimoga district have recorded an increase in inflow, following good rain in the last 24 hours.
The Linganamakki catchment area received a rainfall of 82.08 mm, resulting in a three-fold increase in the inflow. It stood at 20,936 cusec on Thursday. The rainfall in the Bhadra catchment area was 19.4 mm and the inflow was 6,911 cusec. The inflow to the Tunga reservoir was 34,106 cusec and the outflow 34,0467 cusec.
