KMF contemplating reducing milk prices

The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) is contemplating on reducing milk prices, newly elected Chairman G Somasekar Reddy disclosed on Thursday.

“We want to reduce the prices and make milk affordable to common man”, he told media persons. He would hold discussions with Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and decide on reducing milk prices. Care would be taken to ensure that producers would not be affected by the decision.    He dismissed reports that he would occupy the chair for just three months and stressed that he would complete his term.
