BJP plans to reap support for Ramdev

As part of the nationwide campaign, a galaxy of national level BJP leaders will campaign in various parts of Karnataka from June 22, which happens to be the birth anniversary of noted Jan Sangh leader Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.

Speaking with the media, State BJP spokesperson C T Ravi said D V Sadananda Gowda would launch the campaign against corruption in the State from Tumkur on June 22.

On June 25, there will be programmes in Hubli and Mangalore that would be attended by senior BJP functionary Vinay Katiyar and former Goa chief minister Manohar Parrikar respectively. On June 26, Murli Manohar Joshi would attend party’s anti-corruption movement in Bangalore.

The BJP spokesperson said the party is of the firm belief that the prime minister’s office, higher judiciary and all others must be brought within the ambit of Lokpal Bill.
