JOIN USA 15-year-old girl has been allegedly kidnapped and raped by a 24-year-old man on June 14.
The 10th standard student, at a private school in Maddur, was kidnapped from T B Circle on the ill fated day at about 9.30 am. Shankar, the rape accused lied to her about the precarious health condition of the girl’s father who was admitted in Mandya.
He took her on his bike to a sugar cane field behind Sanjo hospital in Mandya and allegedly raped her.
Accused flees
Subsequently, he fled from the place after abandoning her. The accused Shankar is a cashier, and had befriended the girl whose residence was located behind his workplace.
A case has been registered in this regard and the girl has been admitted to the government hospital. A search has been launched by the police for Shankar and his family members.
