Hunsur case: Top cop clarifies

“The moment I received a call on my cellphone from Hunsur Dy SP around 5.30 pm, I swung into action instructing a team of inspectors to get on to the trail of the accused. We (police) also went to certain locations, in search of the two kidnapped students H M Sudhindra and H S Vighnesh, who were eventually killed allegedly at the hands of their kidnappers”, the commissioner said.

Whenever, the police receive such information, action follows subsequently, and the jurisdiction comes next, the commissioner further clarified.

The commissioner made it clear that, he himself was at the helm of affairs issuing directions to the police personnel on assisting the district police.
