Seer seeks expert panel to check pollution

“Udupi District-In- Charge Minister Dr V S Acharya and DK District-In-Charge Minister Krishna J Palemar have agreed to appoint the experts suggested by me in the UPCL pollution inspection panel but have still not put their words into action,” he said.

He also added that in case the government does not adhere to its promises by July 13, he shall go for a hunger strike.

Speaking on the attack on the protestors in Ram Leela grounds, he said that the United Progressive Alliance government should not have taken such a drastic step. Women and children were hurt in the attack that took place at mid night.

“The move by UPA government was undemocratic,” he said.

He also added that Baba Ramdev should not have escaped wearing a ladies dress. He should have boldly faced the attack. Baba Ramdev saying that armed forces can be arranged to face the police attack was wrong, pointed out the seer.

To a query, he said the Prime Minister and Supreme court Judge should be included in the purview of Lokpal bill.
