It’s those aged between 18 years and 22 years who give the movies good publicity,” says Yograj.

Yograj’s new project, Paramatma is, as the name suggests, about a young man who is a pure soul. “The story is woven around a pure soul. It’s hard to find people with a good heart these days but this young man does have one and battles all odds successfully,” explains Yograj.

The young man is played by Puneeth Rajkumar and Deepa Sannidhi, who has done one film in Kannada, will play the female lead. Yograj says the many aspects related to the young have nagged him to no end. “It’s an absorbing script. There’s a young man who is pure in his thoughts and actions but how this purity gets contaminated due to circumstances around him is the crux of the story. Even a simple man is forced to change his ways and take the evil route to achieve success,” said

Yograj. There are two women — the role of a young girl is played by Aindrita Ray and Deepa plays the older woman. “I can’t reveal much about the character of the two women. But it’s unlike the usual love triangle. Their roles are unpredictable,” he adds.

Paramatma will be shot in 17 districts of Karnataka. “All my films are shot at multiple locations. It’s just that the right scene for the movie is not available at one single place so I have to move around until I get the location perfectly in my head,” observes Yograj.
This is Deepa Sannidhi’s second Kannada movie. Deepa said it’s the storyline that caught her attention, “It’s quite like the present day situation about love and relationship. I think young people today are confused when it comes to love. Their perceptions are very different. While the older generation would think love is a pure feeling that exists between two people, today’s youth have their own interpretation of love. This is what the film hopes to capture,” Deepa says.  She informs that working with two accomplished artistes such as Darshan in her first film and now Puneeth Rajkumar has given her a chance to learn a lot and exploit the talent in her.

The movie is directed by Yograj Bhat, the music is by V Hari Krishna and lyrics by Jayanth Kaykini. “Yograj is known for his beautiful lyrics and this movie has some amazing songs,” she adds.
