Mangalore KSRTC division has started issuing bus passes to the students. Students upto seventh standard should pay Rs 70 for the pass. High school students (boys) will have to pay Rs 700, girls—Rs 525, college students—Rs 1,100, diploma, ITI, job oriented course students—1,350, students pursuing professional courses—Rs 1,400. However, students of tutorials will not get the pass.
