<p>Several low-lying areas, GM Palya, Shivajinagar, Marathahalli, Mahadevapura, Byrasandra, Indiranagar, Nagarabhavi and OMBR Layout, were flooded. As Miller’s Road was closed for vehicle movement, traffic moved bumper-to-bumper on the waterlogged arterial roads. Houses on OPH Road were flooded. <br /><br />The residents blamed the Palike for delaying construction of drains in the area. <br /><br />The Meteorological Department has forecast cloudy weather with rain and thunder showers at some places in the next 24 hours.</p>
