Man kills 80-year old mother, commits suicide

Krishnamurthy (31) of Pachapalli village near here strangulated his mother Pavayammal using a nylon rope late last night and ended his life by hanging early today, they said.
A bachelor, Krishnamurthy had borrowed heavily and was unable to repay it. His mother had berated him for remaining unemployed and incurring debt, police said.

Irritated over his mother’s comments, he murdered her and and later committed suicide.
