Deer run over at Nagpur airport runway

The incident took place this morning when Air India flight AI 628 had crushed the deer but landed safely, sources said.

When contacted, Air India, however said it was unaware of any such incident.This is the second such incident within a week when a wild animal has strayed into the airport runway causing disturbance. Two wild boars had last week came under the wheels of an incoming flight.
