JOIN US He was speaking after inaugurating a district-level workshop for teachers as a preparation for the 17th national children’s science convention under the aegis of Rajya Vijnana Parishat, local Rotary Club, Vivekananda PU College here on Saturday.
The teachers should encourage the students to develop scientific temperament, he advised. He said the teachers should guide their students to prepare quality research papers on the environmental hazards on the earth.
Zilla Panchayat member V P Shashidhar said teachers have a vital role in creating awareness among the public regarding environment protection.
Releasing a booklet on the convention, Rotary Club President K S Rajashekhar said the workshops are helpful to create environment awareness among the members of the public.
The college administrative board president N N Shambhulingappa presided. District convener T G Premkumar delivered an introductory address.
