The collection features garments and scarves made using numerous hand processes from specially-developed khadi, hand-woven cotton and silk textiles.  The prints have been created by an ancient Japanese tie-dye technique called  Itajime Shibori. The process is completely hand-done and cannot be produced by machinery.

Commenting on the Shiro-Haiiro collection, designer Richard says, “It is a contemplative vision that transcends quick trends, cults and hypes.  It draws inspiration from the past and looks forward in fashion by looking back in time.”
