Nanjunde Gowda re-elected

There was a stiff competition between the Congress and the JD(S) for the post. While Nanjunde Gowda bagged five votes and won the election, Jaffer from Congress got a total four votes.

The Manager of the Bank functioned as the election officer. Outgoing president Gopalakrishna presided over proceedings.

Nanjunde Gowda assured to work for the welfare of the bank. He also announced various new schemes and loans for the benefit of the farmers and sought the co-operation from the members in this regard.
