50-year-old Natesan, the deceased, was trampled to death in the region, located near the Kerala border, around 7 PM last night by the wild elephant, police said.Forest guard Chandrasekar suffered serious injuries and has been admitted to a hospital, they said.
Natesan was a native of Chennai, they added.
