Informing the same to the media persons, Mangalore Airport Diamond Jubilee Celebration Committee Chief Co-ordinator K Thejomaya said that experts, faculties and students from all over the country will take part in the conference. The Committee has already received 75 abstracts for presentation and they are expecting few more.

As many as 200 delegates from India and abroad are expected to participate in the conference.

Thejomaya informed that they have received papers from the University of Southern Mississippi in USA, Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria-Australia and former Senior Legal Aid Counsel from Hong-Kong, The Kingdom University, Kingdom of Bahrain, South Africa universities.

The experts from IIM, Central Universities, private universities, tourism industry professionals too will take part in the conference, informed Thejomaya.Mangalore University Department of Business Administration professor Dr P Mallikarjunappa who is the Chairman of the National Conference Organising Committee said that various issues including eco tourism, sustainable development and eco tourism, geo tourism, cultural tourism, role of IT in medical tourism etc will be discussed in the two day conference.

Some of the resource persons include Indian Institute of Travel and Tourism Management, Gwalior Professor Sandeep Kulshreshta, Prof Y Venkat Rao from Pondichery University, Prof R Jayaraman from Madurai Kamraj University to name a few.
