15 injured as auto topples

It is said that they had visited the hill in the morning to offer prayers in the goods auto and were returning when the mishap occurred. It is alleged that the auto driver lost his balance while negotiating a curve and the auto toppled.

Seven people who were severely injured have been shifted to a hospital in Mysore.
The rest are being treated at the government hospital in Chamarajanagar.

One killed in mishap

A pedestrian was killed on the spot when a bike hit him at Bandigere in the taluk on Sunday night.

The deceased has been identified as Subbashetty (60). The bike rider was returning from Chamarajanagar when the mishap occurred. Ramasamudra police have registered a case.
