Couple along with kid end life

 

According to police, the deceased have been identified as Venkatramana (33), Rekha (28) and Vanditha. It was said that Venkatramana had invited his brother Malappa to his house on Sunday. Accordingly, when he visited the house, he saw three bodies inside the house with a poison bottle lying next to them. Since their two children, Kavitha (8), Yashwitha (5) had gone to their grandfather’s house, they survived from the clutches of death. They were depressed as they were not well. A case has been registered.

Man murdered

In a tragic incident, a quarrel over marriage has ended in murder at Doddamanebettu near Cherkadi gram panchayat limits in Brahmavar on Saturday.

According to police, the deceased has been identified as Sheena Kulal (67). Prasad Bhandary, Prashanth Kulal and Prakash Kulal are the accused. It was said that Sheena Kulal’s niece Sumithra was having an affair with Prakash Kulal. They had requested Kulal to help them in getting married. Though both the families had agreed for the marriage, Kulal did not have good opinion about Prakash. On Friday, they had a fight over gold for marriage. As a result, Prakash and his associates assaulted Kulal on Saturday evening. Though Kulal was rushed to the hospital, he breathed his last. A case has been registered.

Man dies, wife survives in suicide bid

A person was killed when the couple attempted to commit suicide by consumig posion and later jumping into a well in Kota police station limits.

According to police, the deceased has been identified as Martappa Prabhu (49). It was said that couple were depressed as they did not have children. Neighbours rushed them to the hospital. However, Marthappa Prabhu succumbed to the injuries. Lakshmi is being treated in the hospital.

PU student ends life

A student committed suicide by hanging for having failed in II PUC examination in Enekallu near Subrahmanya.

According to police, the deceased has been identified as Naveen (19). He was failed in PUC.

He was the student of Subrahmanyeshwara PU College. He is survived by his father, mother and sisters. A case has been registered.
