With five models — Classic 500, Classic 350, Thunderbird, Electra 4S and Standard 350 — on display, customers can now grab their favourite model at the showroom located on Udayaravi Road in Kuvempunagar, near Hotel Shanti Sagar.

Darpan Nandi would be the first to receive the keys for a Classic 350 from the showroom on Monday. Other two customers to receive the motorcycle would be Chakravarthy with a Classic 500 and Sathish (Classic 350).

Speaking to Deccan Herald, proprietor Sumanth said Classic 350 is one of the most sought after motorbikes from the Royal Enfield stable. While the waiting period for the bike is three to four months in other cities and takes as long as six months in Bangalore, Sumanth exuded confidence that it would be delivered to customers here within two months.

Describing the attractive features of the Royal Enfield motorcycles, Sumanth said it is more comfortable for long rides and riders rarely feel the strain.

This apart, the unique thumping sound of the motorbike won’t be available with any other two-wheeler, he added.
