Data not updated on official website

The first quarter (April 1 to June 30) has come and gone but the information promised by Yeddyurappa, who also held the finance portfolio, is yet to be uploaded on the department website. The announcement was made in the context of doubts raised by some members of the House about the financial health of the State.

“Perhaps their apprehensions are due to lack of full information. I propose that fiscal position of the Government will be disclosed henceforth on a quarterly basis on the website of Finance Department www.kar.nic.in/finance, so that the wrong perception can be corrected,” Yeddyurappa had said in his budget speech. The information is yet to be shared and put on the public domain.
