Chlorine gas leaks from BHEL plant in Bhopal; 3 hospitalised

Three persons reported irritation in their eyes following the leakage from the plant situated near the Madhya Pradesh Assembly, Bhopal Collector Nikunj Shrivastava said.

They are undergoing treatment at the Jai Prakash Hospital here, he said.The situation is under control and efforts are on to plug the gas leakage, Shrivastava said.

Police, fire brigade personnel and district administration officials have reached the spot.
