The incident occurred when she was walking towards the bus stand after attending divorce case in a local court.<br />Jyothi had moved town court five years ago, seeking divorce from Dinesh. On Tuesday too the case had come up for hearing and the case had been adjourned. </p>.<p>Jyothi was walking on Kirijaji road, when she was attacked by a man on two-wheeler later identified as her husband, with a sharp weapon. According to an eye-witness, the victim was caught unawares as she was attacked from behind. The assailant, though blood soaked, managed to flee even as the alert passersby made a bid to nab him. Town police have registered a case and are investigating.</p>
