Get set for the East-West round

The North Zone round of the show, which was held at the M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, New BEL Road, on August 20, was a great hit with the students with around 18 teams taking part.

And now, it’s time for the East-West Zone round to kick off at CMRIT where colleges from the East and West zones of the City will battle it out on the ramp. This round will be followed by the South Zone round at Dayananda Sagar Institutions, Kumaraswamy Layout, on September 3. The top three teams from these zonal rounds will compete in the grand finale, which will be held at the Mount Carmel College Auditorium on September 10. The shows will be held from 3 pm onwards.  

At the grand finale, the winners of the zonal rounds, can sport the best collecti­ons of renowned brands like John Players, Flying Mach­ine, Jealous Jeans, Kalanjali, Tonga Fashion House, People, Deepam, Esprit and Celio. In addition to that, they will get some fabulous gift vouchers from each of these respected brands as well.

The event will be hosted by the popular MC Zuhair Abbas, who has enlivened the crowds at a number of shows like ‘Miss India South’, ‘Kingfisher Derby’ and the finale of ‘Voice of Bangalore — Season 4’ . If that wasn’t all, he has even hosted cult shows ‘Roadies’ and ‘Rock On’ and rubbed shoulders with the likes of Ranbir Kapoor, R Madhavan, Priyanka Chopra, Bipasha Basu, Neil Nitin Mukesh by hosting various premieres and promotional tours. He has even hosted various inter-collegiate fests.  Well-known choreographer Mithilesh and DJ Sandeep (Sandy) are also associated with the show.
