<p>The complainant Umang, a resident of MSR Nagar, was accompanying his friend Ananth to his home. A gang of around 20 youths, aged between 20 and 25, who came on bikes, accosted the victims on Sankey Road near Suvirath Apartment. <br /><br />They threatened the victims at knifepoints and hit them with helmets. One of the suspects hit the complainant’s left hand with a knife. They snatched the victim’s two bags and cellphones worth around Rs 30,000 and absconded.<br /><br />In another incident in J P Nagar, an unidentified person stopped a couple, attacked them with a stick, robbed their Rs 50,000 and a gold chain and fled. The incident took place when Yeddyurappa and his wife were moving towards a bus stop. Yeddyurappa wanted to accompany his wife till the bus stop as she had to go to her native place. The suspect waylaid them on J P Nagar 7th phase, and hit them with a stick. The victims were injured in the incident.<br /><br /></p>
