Speaking to press persons, Managing Trustee Syed Mohammed Beary said Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa, Union Minister of Law and Justice M Veerappa Moily, Home Minister Dr V S Acharya, District-in-Charge Minister Krishna Palemar and Higher Education Minister Aravind Limbavalli will be the chief guests for the programme.
He said Bearys Institute of Technology is the integrated new generation residential engineering college in Karnataka, which is also the first green building campus in India and first to have research in the first year itself.
Beary said the college will offer civil engineering, electronics and communication, computer science and information science courses. The college will start mechanical engineering, aeuronotical engineering, chemical engineering, industrial relationship, school of design environment and architecture and institute of management in the near future.
The mission of education by the Bearys Group began in the year 1906 in a thatched roof hut at Kodi Kundapur.
The mission has seen the growth of number of institutions in imparting education from pre-primary to collegiate and professional level, he informed.
