'Few takers from State for SSC jobs'

Gopalan was speaking at the ‘State Level Conference on Job Opportunities in Government Services’, organised by GT Institute of Management Studies and Research in association with SSC.

He urged the youth who have passed PUC to apply for the posts which are more than 1,000 in number and fetching Rs 15,000 as starting salary.

“It is difficult to understand the lack of interest shown by most towards getting these government jobs. The process of recruitment is also easy and automated so as to avoid any influence, bias or corruption,” said Gopalan. Over 250 participants from over 70 institutions from across the State were present at the conference.
