Rohan, Kushi clinch titles

JTTA lad Neeraj appeared on course for a straightforward victory when he took the first two games by identical 11-9 margins. Rohan, however, dug deep to clinch the next three games which were all tight affairs to eventually find himself on the right side of a 9-11, 9-11, 11-8, 14-12, 11-9 scoreline.

There was joy for Kushi V in the Cadet girls category as she overcame a spirited challenge from Archana Kamath in the title round. Kushi too had to rally from the loss of the first game, but came back strongly to complete a 9-11, 11-5, 12-10, 11-9 victory.
