<p>He was speaking at a programme organised by Karnataka Beary Sahithya Academy here on Sunday to release two Beary novels – ‘Tharavad’ of U A Kasim Ullal and ‘Nando Raya Nando Samskriti’ of T A Aliyabba.</p>.<p>Dr Ismail said both the literary pieces have contributed to the growth of Beary litearture. <br />Speaking on ‘Tharavad,’ he said the novel highlights history of Beary community and lavish expenditure made during marriages by the community members. </p>.<p>Speaking on ‘Nando Raya Nando Samskriti,’ he said there is a confrontation of culture and civilisation in the book. The development process in a vil lage has been presented well. </p>.<p>Writer Ismath Pajeer said ‘Tharavad’ has highlighted the forgotten Beary culture and has recoined several words which have been forgotten by the generation. Karnataka Beary Sahithya Academy President M B Abdul Rahman presided. Academy Registrar Umarabba gave an introductory remarks.</p>
