This project was guided by College Principal Dr Ashok Kumar. The exhibition and seminar was hosted by Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST), IISc, Bangalore on August 19 and 20 at PESIT, Shimoga.
Sinchana of Electronics and Communication presented seminar on ‘3-Phase Power Inversion and Controller for Irrigation Motors’. Dheeraj Shetty, Sunil Kumar and Chaitra of Mechanical Engineering demonstrated their project ‘Design and Fabrication of Hydraulically Operated Coconut Dehusking Machine’.
Sunil Kumar Hegde of Civil Engineering presented a seminar on ‘Analytical and Experimental Studies on the Load Carrying Capacity of Laterite Arches in Foundation’ in the exhibition. These projects have received sponsorship from KSCST in recognition of the relevance to technology reach out to rural masses.
