The matter will come up for hearing on September 13. In her petition, Jagruti has named the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the state government as the respondents.
Pandya had earlier appealed to state Chief Minister Narendra Modi to take up her crusade for justice as his cause after Gujarat High Court had acquitted the 12 accused of Haren Pandya’s murder charges last month.
Jagruti, in fact, had steered clear of making any direct allegations unlike her later father- -in-law, who had throughout his life had maintained that Haren’s was a political murder, and had held Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and BJP patriarch L K Advani responsible for the same.
