The deceased, identified as Shanthi (48), is a resident of Coramandal New Model House Layout.
Shanthi was suffering from vomit and diarrhoea from past two days and was admitted to I D hospital.
However due to the negligence of a doctor (Bhanudevi) she died on Monday morning, alleged Shanthi’s family members who registered a complaint against Bhanudevi at Robertsonpet police station.
Furniture destroyed
As soon as the news of the Shanthi’s death spread, a mob from Coramandal New Model House Layout gathered at I D Hospital and ransacked the hospital premises damaging furniture and other equipments.
