The unsuspecting woman handed over the chain weighing 50 gm and valued at
Rs 1.35 lakh. The men pretended to dip the gold in a coloured solution in a vessel, asked her to take it back and heat it for a while.
Bindu went inside the house only to realise that there was no chain in the vessel and the men had also disappeared. A case has been registered with the Banashankari police.
