BKS Iyengar to open Yoga Dasara

B K S Iyengar will inaugurate the event on October 2 at 6.30 am on the premises of Kote Anjaneya Swamy Temple in Mysore palace north gate.Mass soorya namaskar, yoga walk are among the attractions.

However, the events will begin on September 18 itself and will be held up to October 4.

National level meet

Unlike previous years,  a national level meet will be held with a slogan- yoga and naturopathy for wellness.

It has been organised in association with department of Ayush. Experts will talk on various related topics on the occasion. Giving inputs of the events, the working president said yoga reorientation camp will be held at JSS Ayurveda Hospital on September 18, while a free camp on an experimental basis will be held from September 19 to 24 at city armed reserve police grounds, followed by training camp on yogic science from September 19 to 23 at government women’s junior college at People’s Park, quiz on September 24 at exhibition grounds, coaching camp for specially-abled and others from September 21 to 30.
