Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Sriramulu completely rubbished rumours about the CBI issuing a showcause notice to him.
“For the past three days, I was in New Delhi. I shall cooperate with the CBI in case I am subjected to interrogation,” he said.
Moreover, G Janardhana Reddy and B V Srinivas Reddy are merely the accused. The charges against them are yet to be proved. Despite the court directive for providing facilities to the accused, the two are denied  minimum facilities in the prison. It is common knowledge that the CBI is the puppet in the hands of the Centre, said Sriramulu.
Further, the former minister clarified that he would not withdraw his resignation at any cost. “I shall soon give an explanation regarding my resignation, as sought by Assembly Speaker K G Bopaiah,” he said.
