Hegde has to reply to the various questions that has been raised against him, he said.
Speaking at a seminar on Save Constitution end Corruption (Samvidana ulisi brashtachara alisi), organised jointly by various progressive organisations in Hassan on Tuesday, he pointed out that he had already alleged that Hegde has RSS connection. Responding to that, Hegde denied it and said that he is only in contact with his father and brother and there is no other meaning for that. He ridiculed his statement saying that Hegde’s family has been extending financial support to RSS. He reminded that Hegde had presided over a convention organised by Advocate association in December 1992.
