Addressing a press meet here on Tuesday, Honourary Advisor S S Pathar said the contest will be held in three categories, viz., professional category, students (youth category) and traditional, trial, folk painting and hobby category.
In professional category, the first prize winners will receive Rs 20,000 cash, memento and certificate. The best three exhibits will be given Rs 10,000, memento and certificate each. In students category, the first prize winner will receive Rs 10,000, memento and certificate.
The best three exhibits will get Rs 5,000, memento and certificate each. In traditional, trial, folk painting and hobby category, the first prize winner will receive Rs 10,000, memento and certificate. The best three will get Rs 5,000, memento and certificate each. For pre-judging, one must send the photograph of original artifacts/exhibit of size 5X7. The last date for receipt of photograph is September 10.
