Doctors trusted in more ways than one, opines Mayor

Speaking after inaugurating the new MBBS batch at Fr Muller Medical College here on Wednesday, he accorded the fact to the increasing tribe of ‘Doctor turned politicians’ in the country. “They trust a doctor to take care of them in more ways than one, he added and urged the new batch of medical students to respect that trust and deliver their best for the society. 

Director of Fr Muller Charitable Institutions Fr Patrick Rodrigues, Administrator of Fr Muller Medical College Hospital Fr Stany Tauro, Administrator of Fr Muller Medial College Fr Dennis D’Sa, Dean Dr Jayaprakash Alva and others were present on the occasion. Fr Dennis D’Sa in his introductory remarks urged the students to always see their profession as a service and not to make it a commercial venture. Around 100 students have joined the fresh MBBS batch at the college.
