US cat is the world's shortest

It measures six inches from the shoulders to the ground, compared to an average cat's 10 inches, The Sun reported.

"When Guinness told me that I had the shortest cat I was absolutely ecstatic. When I took her to the vet's office to have him do the measurement he'd never seen an animal this small in his entire life," owner Tiffani Kjeldergaard said.

"She knows she's short but she has no problem climbing and getting to the highest places in the house," she said.
