Governor refutes allegations

Vishwanath Chaturvedi, in his complaint, has accused Bhardwaj of misusing his authority as a Union Law Minister to stall a CBI investigation into assets of Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav. Terming Chaturvedi as “mischievous person,” Bhardwaj denied his role in the decision to close the case. “You should ask Mulayam Singh, not me,” Bhardwaj said.
