Canara PU team wins Limca Quiz

The team comprising Vishnu K M and Errol Andrade from St Aloysius PU College bagged the 2nd prize with 34 points while the third prize went to Canara (Main) High School represented by Suraj Pai and Shishir Upadhyay with 24 points.

The Quiz master for the day was Andrew Scott, who with his witty and spontaneous remarks won the hearts of the audience that included hundreds of school children and teachers. Indian Premier League was the theme of the event as all the rounds were named after something related to the cricketing extravaganza, like Cheer leaders, Dug out, Powerplay and Super over. However, the ‘audience questions’ in between each round was more appreciated due to the lavish presents that each answer won.

St Aloysius High School, NITK school and St Ann’s school were the other participants of the inter-school round in Mangalore. The event was part of a series of competitions organised by Coca Cola India in 75 cities of the country and is hosted by an agency headed by renowned quiz master Derek Obrien.
