Speaking to reporters in Bangalore, he said closure of schools would be against right to compulsory and free education.
Unwise move
In 1994-95, a government circular was issued stating that even if a school has just four to five students, it should not be closed. It is not wise to close the schools, he added.
He reiterated that the government must convene the legislature session to discuss drought and power problems.
