During the hearing of public interest litigation, Advocate General Ashok Harnahalli said the code of conduct due to the bypolls delayed the process and sought two weeks of time to complete the process.
He also said that the State is also making amendments to the KMC Act for the use of electronic voting machines and the draft notification in this regard is ready. The division bench comprising Chief Justice P D Dinakaran and Justice V G Sabhahit granted the required time.
