Govt to seek solution from apex court on mining ban

“We are facing hardships because of the ban on mining. The State exchequer is losing Rs 4,000 crore annually and nearly 1.50 lakh people have become jobless. We will discuss the matter with our legal experts and approach the apex court seeking a solution,” Gowda said after inaugurating the Builders’ Day celebrations here on Friday evening. The chief minister said a plan of action was being prepared to address the environmental concerns arising out on mining activities.
