Kiwis score thrilling win

Resuming at their overnight score of 61 for two and needing another 305 runs for an improbable victory, the hosts produced a stirring fightback before running out of steam at the Queens Sports Club.

Brendan Taylor struck a brilliant and attacking 147-ball 117, who was ably supported by Tatenda Taibu (63). The duo stitched a fine 107-run partnership for the fourth wicket, Taylor’s dismissal leaving Zimbabwe at 265 for four.
